I was operated on by Dr. Eichholz on Nov. 30,2015 to alleviate some spinal stenosis. I was totally impressed by how well the operation and recovery went...a total of 4 hours from start until I left the surgery center. Six weeks later I was able to resume all physical activities. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Eichholz to anyone needing his specialty of minimally invasive spine surgery.

As a professional equestrian who suffered a serious spinal injury (break of L4-L5 with extensive compensatory damage), Dr Eiccholz was my third opinion and first choice for a surgeon. His confidence in his ability to repair my back and help me find some meaningful way to return to capacity was my reason to trust him with such a serious surgery. I am now 6 months post-operative, and not only am I able to go the gym and do most everything as I get stronger and more flexible, but I am back on a horse and feeling safe and able and pain free. He is a talented surgeon, and also a kind and caring person. I enjoyed having him help me back to my best self.

Dr. Eichholz is a great surgeon and I believe he corrected what a previous neurosurgeon messed up. He explained the procedure (Minimally Invasive Surgery) and did advise it will take time to fully heal. Even though I am still experiencing bursts of pain, I have full confidence in my eventually become pain free in my lower back. I have not been totally pain free since around June, 2009.
I will, and have done, recommend others to Dr. Eichholz, as I believe he is one of the best in his field. His office staff is also excellent. One great team.

I called your office early in September 2015, and I was welcomed cheerfully by Candy and then Liz. Liz explained very thoroughly how your office would interact with my insurance, and then secured a gap exception so Dr. Eichholz could examine me and arrange for surgery if needed. All of your staff with whom I spoke welcomed and performed their duties efficiently and professionaly to get me to a surgery date of Dec 4, 2015. Once the surgery was complete, my left hip pain was gone, the pain I felt with each step was gone, and my left leg is getting stronger and my gait is slowly returning to normal. You and your staff gave me exemplary patient care, and soon I will be returning to a normal life again. Thank you, Dr. Eichholz, for assembling a staff (Liz, Candy, and Fran, and others) who made me feel so welcome and for your surgical skill which has given me hope that soon I will return to swimming, biking, weight circuits, and golf which add so much meaning to my life.
