The fusion surgery has given me a new lease on life. I had always been very active in my life and for the last 8 years, I had been limited to barely walking and minimal cycling - both with a lot of pain. 3 months after surgery, I am walking 3 miles a day without significant pain. I am swimming and cycling moderate distances without discomfort. I know I still have a lot of healing to work through, but I am excited to have a pathway to a fully active life again.
